It is so exciting to have the opportunity to serve our community as the Thayer Elementary Principal. As a classroom teacher, I taught World and US History for 6, 7, and 8th grades. I have certifications to teach Government, Personal Finance, Economics, and Business. I have also served as a coach for football, baseball, and softball. I have completed Bachelors, Masters, and Education Specialist in Leadership through Milligan University in East Tennessee.  I am excited to be back in Thayer and to raise my family in this amazing community.

 As an alumnus of Thayer High School, Class of 2004, I am committed to see our school and community prosper. We strive to create a learning environment where students feel successful and we provide them with the skills to excel in life. Our staff at Thayer Elementary is always seeking to enhance student learning, foster strong relationships, challenge our students, and create a lifelong love for learning.  They are an amazing staff that cares for our students and community. They hold a high standard for excellence that makes us Bobcat Nation. We encourage parents, community, and all stakeholders to be part of the educational process.
